HIVE Digital Technologies, a Canada-based Bitcoin miner and information heart operator that trades on the Nasdaq and Toronto Stock Exchange, has appointed Mark Volk as Senior Vice President of Revenue at BUZZ HPC, its wholly owned AI cloud and high-performance computing subsidiary.
Volk’s mandate is to construct BUZZ HPC’s income engine and scale it globally. He will lead the company’s go-to-market strategy across enterprise, authorities, sovereign AI, hyperscale, analysis and educational markets, overseeing commercialization of its GPU-powered infrastructure, including sovereign AI cloud, GPU-as-a-Service, colocation and hybrid AI options.

Nearly three many years in AI and enterprise infrastructure
Volk brings roughly 30 years of expertise across AI, high-performance computing, cloud and enterprise infrastructure.
He is not a new face internally, he has labored with HIVE as a guide for roughly 9 months, during which he helped construct BUZZ HPC’s present GPU cloud demand pipeline.
Before his consulting position, Volk served as CEO of CiphexAI Corporation. The rent comes at a pivotal second
BUZZ HPC has closed more than $600 million in whole contract worth for GPU cloud offers yr to date, including three- and five-year agreements with creditworthy counterparties, with a demand pipeline exceeding $1 billion in whole contract worth potential, a pipeline Volk himself helped construct during his consulting tenure.
On August 17, BUZZ HPC signed a five-year, $350 million AI cloud companies settlement with an unnamed investment-grade enterprise buyer, its largest single deal to date.

HIVE plans to wind down Bitcoin mining at its Swedish services, which accounted for less than 5% of day by day income in August, and is evaluating repurposing that infrastructure for HPC and AI.
