Wipro has renewed its Digital Workplace Services contract with ABB, extending an association that has run for several years and covers technology companies used by the latter’s staff worldwide.

Under the renewed settlement, Wipro will proceed to present end-to-end, AI-enabled digital office companies across ABB’s world operations.

Wipro said it would also work on worker expertise, utilizing automation, AI-based service instruments and office modernisation measures.

The work will draw on Wipro Intelligence, the company’s suite of AI platforms and choices, and will be delivered through its AI Live Workspace and Digital Workplace Services propositions.

Day-to-day operations will run on WINGS, Wipro’s AI-powered supply platform.

The company said its AI for IT operations (AIOps) functionality, SmartOps, would be used to make office companies more autonomous and predictive, including GenAI-powered self-service, digital brokers, auto-remediation and AI-assisted dispatch.

Wipro added that it would use telemetry and utilization knowledge to handle the lifecycle of worker units and to support endpoint security operations, alongside ABB’s digital transformation and sustainability targets.

ABB client expertise head Ana Jauregui said: “As ABB operates at world scale with a extremely numerous workforce, the reliability, security, and consumer expertise of our digital office are essential.

“Wipro’s capacity to ship standardised companies while remaining responsive to native wants will help us drive increased productiveness, improve worker satisfaction, and support our long time period digital and sustainability ambitions.”

Wipro said the contract builds on its existing presence in the industrial and manufacturing sector, where companies are updating workplace operations to support agility, productivity and employee experience internationally.

Wipro Switzerland managing director and nation head Madhavan R said: “ABB and Wipro share a relationship that has grown over many years, anchored in trust, collaboration, and a common ambition to drive significant business outcomes.

“ABB’s continued confidence in Wipro displays the power of this enduring partnership and our shared dedication to innovation.

“As AI becomes a defining power in the future of work, we are bringing collectively our experience and AI-led Digital Workplace capabilities to help ABB create a more clever, automated, resilient, and employee-centric office expertise for colleagues across the globe.”

In August 2025, Wipro announced the acquisition of the Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) unit of Harman, a Samsung subsidiary. The deal closed in December 2025.
