Grant Thornton UK has chosen Amanda Askham as a new associate to support its public sector consulting apply.
Askham will oversee the company’s native authorities transformation and organisational design work in her new place.
She joins Grant Thornton UK with virtually 30 years of expertise across consulting and public sector management.
After starting her profession in consulting, Askham spent more than 20 years in native authorities, holding several senior roles targeted on change and transformation.
In her most current position as strategic director at Ealing Council, she led a council-wide transformation programme protecting organisational and working model redesign, workforce and service enhancements, as nicely as analysis and insight.
Askham also has expertise supporting organisations in responding to financial and strategic pressures through sensible, long-term adjustments.
Her appointment is meant to support Grant Thornton’s work with councils on implementing organisational and service adjustments.
