Covenergo and Delta Capacity have began construction on the AKKU One battery power storage system (BESS) project in Lapinlahti, Finland.
The web site will characteristic a stand-alone battery with a capability of 125MW and an power storage functionality of 300MW-hours (MWh).
The firms expect to commission the facility in the fourth quarter of 2027 (This fall 2027).
The AKKU One project was acquired as a ready-to-build asset from Helios Nordic Energy.
